Good afternoon PTI Technology Working Group, After months of consultations with buyers from the U.S. and Canada, the enclosed document represents the output of the work done under the auspices of the PTI. The next step for the PTI is to update the Best Practices for Formatting Case Labels to reflect the new label and the significant changes this represents. The Technology WG will develop the document keeping the Implementation WG aware of the efforts. The document will then go to the Implementation WG for their approval and then the final step of approval by the PTI Leadership Council. I will connect with your co-chairs – Todd Baggett and Julie McGill to get the work started so expect to hear from them. They have been very busy working on the template for submitting traceability information to the FDA so they deserve everyone’s thanks for those efforts.
