Technology Working Group - Industry Update

Description: Greetings – I hope this message finds you all doing well since our last conference call. The announcement by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and Sam’s Club, Inc. concerning their Produce Traceability Initiative roll out plan has certainly boosted the momentum in the market place. There are many questions concerning the May 29, 2013 announcement and Chairman Andy Kennedy, FoodLogiQ and I felt it would be timely to reconvene the Technology Working Group for an industry PTI update. Michael Agostini, Senior Director- Produce/Floral, Wal-Mart Stores will be our special guest to address any questions and specifications concerning the PTI announcement letter sent to Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club Produce Suppliers. We have a large TWG distribution list and hope many of you will be able to join the call.
