Julie McGill is the Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy and Insights at Trustwell, (formerly FoodLogiQ and ESHA Research). Julie monitors food regulations, is engaged with evolving industry work, advises, and educates internal stakeholders and external partners on impacts to the food supply chain. Prior to joining FoodLogiQ, Julie led initiatives in foodservice and convenience retail at GS1 US. She was also a founding team member at Transora, which was one of the first GDSN data pools (now 1WorldSync). Julie started her food and beverage career at Coors Brewing Company in Golden, Colorado, working on their store level data team, and she managed their distributor EDI program.
Julie participates on various industry initiatives and is the co-chair of the AIM North American Food Supply Chain workgroup, co-chair of the Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) Technology, and serves on the PTI Leadership Council.
She also participates on many GS1 workgroups, including the GS1 US Foodservice and Retail Grocery Initiatives, Cross-Industry RFID Discussion Group, EDI Discussion Group, Supply Chain Optimization, and the Joint Foodservice & Retail Grocery FSMA 204 work groups. She is an active member of the GSMP EPCIS & CBV 2.0 MSWG and has participated on the GLN Data Model Sub Team.
